Today is the day that goes into Bahini's history book because today we are finally live!
What an incredible journey these last two years has been! - Countless trips to Nepal trying to find loving Fair Trade certified suppliers for Bahini to collaborate with. Scrapping ideas and throwing out one strategy after another. Endless nights of watching tutorials to learn how to make anything from a logo to packaging design. And even though this has been a one-woman-journey, it has been anything but that. Never did I expect to receive such great support and love from both new and old friends. Bahini would not have been made possible if it wasn't for all amazing people who never stopped believing in Bahini's cause. So without further ado, I'd like to thank all of you gems from the bottom of my heart!
Thank you to my mother for her never ending belief in me and Bahini, my partner Mark for his insightful advises and constant support, my dear friends for being there and for helping with expertise in various areas. And a special shoutout to the photographer Maximilian who came all the way from Austria to Stockholm to help me shoot the model photos for Bahini's website.
Now, I truly hope Bahini can help as many girls as possible, so let's create this #mybahini community together and as the site has just launched, if you find any bugs or anything that needs improvement -do let me know!
