We are absolutely thrilled to announce that you now can find our Bahini scarves in Open House set on the upper floor in the futuristic Central Embassy building on Bangkok's plush Ploenchit Road.
About Open House:
Open House is like a mall but not really a mall. It is a fit-for-all space curated to serve everybody’s tastes. Designed by Tokyo-based Klein Dytham Architecture, which describes its huge new bit-of-everything concept as the city’s first proper “co-living space". It has seven zones that include an art gallery, a design store, a kids' playground, a lounge-y co-working area, food hall and a giant, 20,000-title book store that lines the entire outer wall...and now also an area for Bahini scarves!
It’s the kind of home-y, anti-urban go-to that will begin to define mega-cities like Bangkok more and more, says Klein Dytham’s Astrid Klein. Cities don’t have enough spaces where you can really hang out, or just be, she says. “Open House is an antidote to that – an oasis, or getaway, a kind of home away from home.”
We absolutely love this space and are excited to collaborate with them. When you go, make sure you dedicate a couple of hours for your visit to kick-back, enjoy a yummy treat, read a limited edition hardcover book, explore art and try on a Bahini scarf...and let us know what you think!
