Where do you ship?

Bahini currently ships to 30 countries:

Europe: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Aland Islands, Iceland, Ireland, United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland , Monaco & The Netherlands.

Asia: Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Macao, Taiwan, Malaysia & Singapore.

Oceania: Australia & New Zealand

North America: Canada & United States

Middle East: United Arab Emirates

Africa: South Africa

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase.

This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.

 

Where do you ship from?

Depending on your location and our stock availability we ship from our warehouse in either Sweden or in Hong Kong.

How long does the shipment take?

We generally ship orders within 1 business day of when you place your order; this may extend to 2 business days if there is a public holiday.

In general domestic shipments (Sweden or Hong Kong) are in transit for about 2-7 days.

International shipments are generally in transit for 4-22 days depending on location.

Please allow more time during peak holiday season (end of November/December).

All our shipments are traceable.   

What if I refuse delivery?

Refused packages, and those that are not received due to negligence on the part of the recipient, are refunded once received by our warehouse, less the cost of shipping to and from the destination country, as well as any applicable duties and taxes.

What is your return policy?

30 Day Returns

We want you to love your Bahini items. If you're not happy for any reason, you may return any full-price Bahini items within 30 days of receiving the order, provided that the items are returned to us in original packaging, unused and in re-sellable condition. All returned items must meet the terms of our return policy, or they will be sent back to you at your expense. The costs associated with the return are the responsibility of the customer. You can ship with the carrier of your choice. For your safety, make sure to get a tracking number so that you are protected in the event of theft or loss during delivery to us. Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed to store credit for a future purchase. We will notify you once this has been completed through email. Bahini will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid.

 


Sale items (if applicable) 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

 

Exchanges (if applicable) 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Every Bahini product is unique as they are handcrafted. Slight variations can occur and are not to be seen as defective but rather a characteristic of handicraft. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. To arrange a return or exchange, please send us an email hello@mybahini.com

Warranty Returns

Every Bahini product is unique as they are handmade where color and size can vary slightly from the photos online. This should not be seen as a defect but rather a characteristic of handicraft. Should a Bahini product accidentally have slipped through our quality control and not meet your expectations, we will happily honor any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 90 days of receipt of items. Customers will be required to pre-pay the return shipping, however we will reimburse you upon successful warranty claim.

 

Upon return receipt of items for warranty claim, you can expect Bahini to process your warranty claim within 15 business days. 

Once warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of: 

(a) refund to your payment method 

(b) a refund in store credit 

(c) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)

Is Bahini a non profit?

Bahini is a for-profit company with giving at its core. With our mission of supporting sisters worldwide, Bahini transforms our customers into benefactors, which allows us to grow truly sustainable giving efforts rather than depending on fundraising for support. This model will enable us to give more at a rapid rate and to create customer-philanthropists along the way.

 

Why do you donate 100% of your profit?

The reason why we started Bahini was to help and support survivors of trafficking to live an independent life of freedom. Not all of us are fortunate to be born in an equal society and we want to do our absolute best to help our sisters around the world.

Product

Are all your products vegan?

Yes, when we first started Bahini we decided to solely work with vegan materials, dyes and ingredients due to the lack of proof i our sourcing that things were made cruelty free. We also ban any animal testing and are PeTA Certified.

Why are all your products handmade?

The fast fashion industry is one of the major industries that harms our environment. Apart from wanting to support women with fair working conditions we want to offer high quality products, made with traditional techniques that are kind to our planet.
